MR.SMiFF

A sworn pirate and freestyler from Sofia-Bulgaria, MR.SMiFF is a passionate explorer and dedicated sonic architect. A producer and DJ for over 25 years, he is known for igniting the dance floor with explosive energy. Influenced by punk music, jazz, dub, jungle, acid, techno & breakbeat, he remains pirate-freestyler, always inspired & unpredictable and he’s bringing a raw and joyful vibe to every stage. Over the years, he has released six solo albums, contributed to five compilations, and produced over 20 tracks with various artists. He is been part & playing on trumpet, bass & synthesisers with bands like "Ambient Anarchist", "CheapTrix", "SpaceDubJammers", etc... He has performed with artists such as Mad Professor, Ark, Remote, DePhase, Wax Taylor, Romain Play, Mézigue, Marcelo Cura, DJ Oil... Since moving to Paris in 2017, he is part of the Parisian music collective "Microclimat" and is signed to the label Yoyaku Records. He is also Co-founder of "Studio Otaika" - Cultural Association for audiovisual and digital Arts & "Bigbanda".
