THE RECORD BAG is a podcast about music scene actors interviews : records dealers, distributors, label mangers, dj's or just music lovers based on how they complete their bag to play in clubs, parties or festivals. A thirty minutes portrait throughout their music collection.
When we materialized the concept with Emeraude, I decided to play the game of the interview myself : we’ve experimented the method, the tools, the rhythm. We had to record several times, make a few tests to finally get to a very surprising and satisfying outcome. At that point we were ready, eager to explore new stories to tell, put them in music and broadcast them. They're now available for you to discover.
Music lover, records collector, casual dj, Dave Berton is a video editor his perspective on the mix is the same as his work : the narration. The amalgamation of elements discover or rediscover tracks in a very personal way, having fun.
Bread listening to music and artistic director for a living, Emeraude made a lot of interviewes for a book she wrote about her sister, the actress Pascale Ogier. All these experiences and influences lead her to imagine LE SAC À DISQUES : entering the musical thoughts of night birds, drawing a line of intimate, fun and above all musical portraits.
