A pillar of the free party scene since 2012 with over 150 raves under their belt, the Microclimat collective is touching down on poney.fm. Get ready for a residency where total freedom is the only rule.
Transformation is in Microclimat’s DNA. The crew built their reputation by taking over unconventional spots: forests, ice rinks, boats, industrial wastelands, and underground tunnels. Their signature move? A perfectly balanced transition. The afternoon starts off smooth (ambient, dub, reggae, disco) surrounded by immersive art installations in a family-friendly vibe. But when the sun goes down, lasers cut through the dark, and the sound shifts unapologetically into cutting-edge house and techno.
Microclimat is way more than just DJ sets. It’s a full-blown ecosystem of visual artists, video directors, set designers, and performers. As comfortable at alternative festivals (Fusion, Château Perché) as they are in iconic clubs (Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, KitKat in Berlin, iBoat in Bordeaux), they never hesitate to set up their sound systems to support activist causes (ZADs, climate marches).
Musically, they pack a punch: backed by heavyweights like Laurent Garnier and AZF, they’re gearing up to drop a massive 25-artist compilation at the end of 2024. The kicker? It’ll be released on a USB drive embedded inside a 3D-printed logo.
Today, the core team—led by Antoine Calvino, Kiran Lorette, and their pack of creatives (DJs, sound engineers, producers)—is setting up the decks at the Poneytarium. They’re here to inject the soul of their hybrid parties and their raw energy straight into our refuge.
Tune in. The forecast calls for a heated microclimate.
• "The kicker?" • "The forecast calls for..."
